Call for Introduction to Research scholarships for university students JAE-Intro 2018 Higher Council for Scientific Research

If you are going to take the 4th year of your degree or a master's degree in the 2018-19 academic year and want to do your TFG or your TFM with us, you may be interested in the
CSIC JAE Intro Program
The JAE Intro Program offers scholarships two months long at CSIC Centers and is aimed at university students with an excellent academic record. Its objectives are to make students interested in pursuing a research career aware of the possibilities offered by the CSIC Centers and Institutes in the different scientific areas, and to encourage them to begin learning about scientific issues and how to solve them. In short, getting closer to a research career.
The I2SysBio offers 5 profiles, 4 in the scientific area “Biology and Biomedicine”:
•Santiago Elena: Detecting early-warning signals of the transition from health to disease during plant-virus interactions (JAEINT18_EX_0007).
•Carlos Peña: Web application for UVWordWeb genome analysis (JAEINT18_EX_0011).
•Guillermo Rodrigo: Synthetic biology of RNA for diagnosis (JAEINT18_EX_0214).
•Andrés Moya: Evolution of genome complexity (JAEINT18_EX_0729).
and 1 in the scientific area “Food Science and Technology”:
•Agustín Aranda: Redox regulation of metabolism: role of thioredoxin peroxidase (JAEINT18_EX_0031).
